Aviva Investors buys second Valencia site for 132 homes
The Spanish platform now spans more than 1,200 apartments across four cities.
Aviva Investors has bought a second site in Valencia for its Spanish build-to-rent platform, a brownfield development it intends to turn into 132 residential units across two residential blocks. It follows a development site in the city's Paterna municipality acquired in January, which was expected to deliver 120 units.
Aviva Investors has now made seven investments in Spain's build-to-rent market since 2022, with the platform accounting for more than 1,200 apartments across Valencia, Madrid, Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca and a gross development value of more than €360m.
Construction on the new site is expected to start in the second half of 2027.
