Terms of Use

Last updated: 18 July 2026

These terms govern your use of insuranceassetnews.com (“IAN”, “we”, “us”). By using the site or registering for an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

What IAN is — and is not

IAN is a news and information service for professionals working in and around insurance investment. Nothing on this site is investment, legal, actuarial, tax or other professional advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. You should not rely on IAN content as the basis for any decision without independent verification.

Accounts and access

  • Registration requires accurate information and a working email address.
  • Accounts are personal: credentials must not be shared, and content behind registration must not be systematically redistributed outside your organisation.
  • We may suspend or withdraw access for misuse, and may change what access levels include as the service develops.

Content and intellectual property

IAN content is protected by copyright. You may quote brief excerpts with attribution and a link; you may not reproduce articles in full, scrape the site at scale, or use our content to train commercial systems, without our written permission.

Accuracy

We work to keep coverage accurate and correct errors promptly (see our Editorial Policy), but the site is provided “as is”: we do not guarantee that content is complete, current or error-free, and we accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on it, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

General

We may update these terms from time to time; the date above reflects the current version, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions about these terms: Contact.
