Kyotherm secures €200m AllianzGI infrastructure debt facility for renewable heat and efficiency assets
The facility funds the acquisition of 11 projects from SEEIT, taking secured capacity to 414 MW.
Allianz Global Investors has provided Kyotherm with a €200m multi-currency debt facility that both refinances existing assets and funds future projects, structured so the borrower can draw for new capital expenditure over three and a half years.
The financing is split across euros, sterling and US dollars, with drawdowns governed by sizing metrics and portfolio credit quality checks. Proceeds will refinance selected existing projects and support future project financing and acquisition. In particular, the facility will finance the acquisition of a portfolio of 11 projects from SEEIT, bringing Kyotherm's secured net capacity to 414 MW.
Kyotherm said the structure would support growth across renewable heat and energy efficiency projects in Europe and North America.
