Aviva's transaction, completed in October 2024, insures the benefits of 5,800 pensioner members of the National Grid Electricity Group.
Aviva has completed a £1.7bn pensioner buy-in with the National Grid Electricity Group of the Electricity Supply Pension Scheme, the insurer announced on 25 November 2024. The transaction, which closed in October 2024, included transitioning the Group's existing longevity swap with Zurich Assurance to Aviva and insures the benefits of 5,800 pensioner members.
