Annuity providers put £22.8bn into UK productive assets in first two years of £100bn pledge

Private and unlisted assets accounted for 65% of investment, while corporate bonds’ share fell from 63% in 2024 to 46% in 2025.

UK bulk and individual annuity providers invested £11.5bn in productive assets during 2025, taking the amount deployed across 2024 and 2025 to £22.8bn, the Association of British Insurers said.
