Legal & General's group-wide direct investment portfolio grew to £25.7bn as pension risk transfer sales hit a record £11.4bn.
Legal & General released its 2019 preliminary results on 4 March 2020. Group-wide Direct Investment rose 34% to £25.7bn, up from £19.2bn in 2018.
Pension Risk Transfer sales reached £11.4bn in 2019, up from £9.1bn in 2018, including $1.1bn of US PRT against $0.8bn the year before. LGR operating profit rose to £1,414m from £1,115m, driven by strong new business…
