Standard Life Aberdeen merger completes creating UK’s largest active fund manager

Standard Life and Aberdeen Asset Management today completed their merger to form Standard Life Aberdeen, creating what they describe as the UK’s largest active fund manager by assets under administration.

Its investment arm, Aberdeen Standard Investments, will manage US$758bn in assets, or about £583bn, within the enlarged structure.
