Howden Re says Apollo has been selected as managing agent for the new syndicate.
Generali, the insurance and asset-management group, said on 16 October that its new Lloyd's vehicle, Syndicate 2031 Red Bridge, had received in-principle approval to begin underwriting on the Lloyd's platform. Generali plans for the syndicate to start underwriting operations in 2027.
