MEAG and ENERCON launch wind-farm debt fund for Munich Re and other investors

The Luxembourg sub-fund provides subordinated debt to wind projects in German-speaking countries, MEAG said.
MEAG, Munich Re's asset manager, announced on 23 September 2026 that it and ENERCON had set up a financing platform for wind energy projects in Germany. According to MEAG, the transaction enables Munich Re and other institutional investors to invest in wind projects through the ENERCON Finance Solutions sub-fund.
MEAG said the platform offers long-term junior debt for wind farms.…
