Rothesay Group solvency coverage falls to 235% as insurer declares 22p special dividend
IFRS economic value fell to £8.4bn by June, and Rothesay expected gains from investing assets received in past deals.
Rothesay reported Group Solvency Capital Requirement coverage of 235% at 30 June 2026, down from 246% for FY2025, in a half-year trading update published on 1 September.
The pensions insurer declared an interim dividend of 23p per share and a special dividend of 22p per share. Rothesay said the special payment reflected the Group's strong solvency capital position.
