Generali Spain will make the purchase within its investment portfolio, the group said.
Generali has agreed to buy a stake of about 9.9% in Banco de Crédito Cooperativo (BCC), the holding entity of Grupo Cooperativo Cajamar, for €150m, the insurer announced on 2 October 2026.
Generali said the investment would have an immaterial effect on the group's solvency level.
