Generali has appointed Luca Cetrano as Group Chief Investment Officer, effective 1 June 2026.
Cetrano will report to Marco Sesana, Generali Group General Manager, and in the role he will steer, co-ordinate and monitor all investment activities for the Group’s insurance portfolios.
Cetrano joined Generali Investments in 2012 and, before his promotion to Group CIO, served as Head of Portfolio Management from 2021; the press release says he most recently expanded his remit to include Strategic Asset Allocation and the Group’s Holding Investments Portfolio.
